Bonjour.

I’m Giuliana. Thanks for stopping by.

I am a summa cum laude graduate of James Madison University, where I earned a 4.0 GPA. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Writing, Rhetoric & Technical Communication and a Bachelor of Arts in French. I specialize in technical editing, technical writing, copy editing, editorial acquisitions, and editorial strategy, as well as Chicago and Associated Press styles.

I currently serve as the editorial specialist for the Society of Toxicology and the American College of Toxicology, editing content including scientific abstracts, conference program materials, website and grant proposal copy, and introductory remarks for grammar and adherence to in-house and Chicago styles. Additionally, I manage the Society of Toxicology's weekly blog, including writing, editing, and posting articles. Before holding this position, I was the assistant acquisitions editor at Tax Analysts, a trade magazine publisher in Northern Virginia.

My creative work has most recently appeared in America's Emerging Literary Fiction Writers: Southeast Region, as well as in Virginia's Emerging Writers: An Anthology, a collection of short stories from Virginian authors. I've also had writing published in Gardy Loo Literature & Arts Magazine and Lexia: Undergraduate Journal in Writing, Rhetoric and Technical Communication, Vol. III and Vol. IV. Pop over to any of these publications to get a better sense of my work, and while you're here, take a look at my writing and design samples to get to know me a bit.
